29th OCTOBER 2018

A Chris Carrozi shutout, alongside a pair of goals from Kevin King ensured Guildford Flames completed a 4-0 victory against the Manchester Storm on Sunday at the Spectrum.

Kevin King opened the scoring on the night after 4:27 to nudge the hosts ahead. With less than five minutes remaining in the first period Flames doubled their advantage when Kruis Reddick and John Dunbar’s give and go produced a stinging shot from Dunbar with the rebound falling to Reddick who tucked it away.

The second period was dominated by Guildford who had 18 shots on goal on the Storm net. Despite outshooting their opponents, the only goal that came from all their efforts was a shorthanded effort from TJ Foster at 31:05.

King then grabbed his second of the night in the final period at 50:08 to ensure Flames completed their work over the weekend with two victories, including a 5-3 Challenge Cup success against the Devils in Cardiff on Saturday.
