Woking suffered defeat in their final league game of the season, before facing either Wealdstone or Bath City in the play-offs.
Armani Little’s piece of magic on the stroke of half-time was cancelled out by two late strikes from the Tigers as they completed a comeback victory.
Woking were on the front foot from the start and within five minutes almost opened the scoring when Jake Hyde turned inside the area and saw his shot finger tipped on to the bar from Tom King. The visitors had their first chance of the game following a corner which found an unmarked Joe Parker, his shot was blocked on the line by Ben Gerring.
On the stroke of half time the deadlock was broken when Woking were awarded a free kick twenty-five yards from goal. Up stepped Armani Little with an effort that had Tigers keeper King rooted to the spot as the ball flew into the net.
Young keeper Sam Mason was given a chance to impress at the start of the second half and his efforts kept the Tigers at bay. Firstly he denied Parker, before Paul Hodges had a great chance to increase the Cards lead, but toe pocked his effort wide. Mason then denied Joe Hanks after the midfielder ran the whole length of the pitch. Hodges then swivelled and turned, but saw his shot palmed away by King. Mason was back in the action to deny substitute Zack Kotwica before the visitors turned the game on its head with two goals in the space of a couple of minutes. Jake Jackson’s shot took a deflection to beat the youngster to draw the Tigers level. Woking seemed to go to sleep and let in the visitors once again when substitute Fabien Robert’s effort nestled into the net.
The last chance of the game fell to Woking when Jack Cook’s header went over the bar as the Cards suffered defeat in their last league game of the season.
